Simulation of the Gamma Attenuation through Borate Glass Using Genat4

In this study, the protection parameters of gamma-ray Borate glass system containing 10Li2O. 10K2O. 20Na2O. xPbO. (60-x) B2O3 where x to be varied as 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60, were investigated using Monte Carlo simulation code Geant4. The coefficients attenuation calculated Geant4 a function incident photon 0.0015 MeV 15 MeV. accuracy simulated results was tested by XCOM program. showed reasonable agreement. that sample higher PbO concentration absorbs greater number photons, therefore are increased while tenth-value layer (TVL) values decreased due increase in from 0 60%. linear mass when energy many peaks observed.
